Over the past week the Grasshoppers Committee learned that our Chairman, Mike Blacker, intended to stand down after 5 successful years.
After a brief discussion, Adam Ryding (U12s, Gala co-ordinator, Pavilion Project) and Dave Moorhouse (U9s, Gala planning, Pavilion Project) decided to put their names forward to become co-Chairmen of the club – this was subsequently agreed by the committee at last night’s AGM.
“We’re incredibly proud to become Chairmen of such a fantastic club – the impact Grasshoppers has had on our kids, and the friends our families have made through it is amazing – we are really excited and can’t wait to get started! Green Army!”
We wish Adam and Dave all the best in their new positions!
